Test Haligi on Android

Before Haligi reaches everyone on Google Play, Google asks us to test it with real people for two weeks. Thank you for being one of them. It takes about five minutes, and the app is free.

How to join

You need an Android phone, and the Google account you use for the Play Store on that phone. Use that same account in every step, or the app won't show up for you.

  1. Join our testers group. Open the link below, sign in with your Play Store Google account if asked, and tap Join group.

  2. Become a tester. Open this link on your phone (or computer, with the same account) and tap Become a tester.

    If it says the app isn't available, wait a few minutes after joining the group, then try again.

  3. Install Haligi. On the same page, tap Download it on Google Play, or search for Haligi in the Play Store on your phone. Install it like any other app.
  4. Sign in. Open Haligi, tap Continue with Google, pick what describes you, and type the city you're based in. That's it: you're testing Haligi.

While you test (14 days)

  • Keep Haligi installed for at least 14 days. Google counts testers who stay for the whole two weeks. Please don't uninstall it or leave the test early.
  • Open it now and then. Try the parts that fit you: set up a house and a budget, record a purchase, post a progress photo, share your house's page with family.

Questions

I have an iPhone. Can I test?

This test is for Android only. Haligi for iPhone is coming to the App Store soon, and you can already use Haligi in your browser at https://app.haligi.app.

Is my data safe during the test?

Yes. The test version is the real Haligi, with the same privacy as everyone gets: your house is private unless you share it. Our Privacy Policy has the details.

Will I need to reinstall when Haligi goes public?

No. When Haligi is released to everyone, your app simply updates from the Play Store, and your account and houses stay as they are.

Can I leave the test?

Yes, any time, from the same "Become a tester" page (tap Leave the program). We'd be grateful if you stayed the full 14 days, though: it's what lets Haligi go public on Google Play.
